Information for our customers and partners about how we handle personal information and protect it from misuse and unauthorised use.

PRIVACY POLICY
Declaration on the processing of personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as GDPR), which entered into force on 25.05.2018, replacing the current legislation in force. In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, it is our legal obligation to inform you how we process your personal data and what your rights are.

We are the personal data managers of the www.hotelbankov.sk website. We determine how and for what purpose your personal data is processed.

SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
PERSONAL DATA MANAGER
Personal data is processed to the extent that it has been provided to us by the respective data subject, directly in connection with the conclusion of a contractual or other legal relationship with the data controller, or otherwise collected by the data controller and processed in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, or to fulfil the data controller's legal obligations.

Method of processing personal data Protection
The processing is carried out by individual authorised employees. The processing is carried out using computer technology and manually in paper form, in compliance with all security principles for the management and processing of personal data. To this end, we have adopted technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in order to prevent unauthorised or accidental access to personal data, unauthorised disclosure, unauthorised processing or any other unwanted use. To this end, our employees have signed a confidentiality agreement.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING PERIOD
In accordance with the periods set out in the relevant contracts, in accordance with our archiving rules and in accordance with the relevant legal provisions, this is a period which is absolutely necessary in order to guarantee the rights and obligations deriving both from the contractual relationships and from the relevant legal provisions.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA AND HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?

FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES (legal title: performance of contract)
If you decide to use our services and become our customer, i.e. if you enter into a business contract with us, we record your contact details. The sources of personal data are mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Personal data: Company name (according to the Commercial or Trade Register), first and last name of a natural person, address, e-mail, telephone number, accounting and payment data (IČO, VAT number, account number). The data is necessary for your identification as a buyer client for the actual delivery of the subject of the contract and for the implementation of operations necessary for the issuance of tax documents and the identification of your non-cash payments.

We will process your data for the duration of the implementation of the subject of the valid purchase contract, and according to the law for another ten years from the date of its termination.

FOR MARKETING PURPOSES (Legal Title: Consent)
CONSENT: We record minimal data for marketing purposes based on your consent. If you are interested in our news and promotional offers, we provide you with the opportunity to express your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data by ticking the box with the option of consent/disagreement to the registration of your personal data for these purposes. You can revoke your consent at any time in writing to the address of Hotel Bankov a. s., Dolný Bankov 2, 040 01 Košice, or through cancellation at the e-mail address hurova@hotelbankov.sk

BROWSEING THE WEBSITE (Legal Title: Consent)
When you browse our website, we may collect information about your visits to this site and track the use of our services. This information includes your IP address. This means how long you stay on the site, which site you came from and when you left. For this purpose, we use the services of third parties (Google Analytics, Smartlook, etc.).
We obtain this information automatically through cookies or tracking technologies in order to provide you with the best possible service. We process and store your data for 26 months. You can disable cookies on your computer at any time.

YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT
As long as we process your personal data as a controller, you have the right to contact us at any time to exercise your right to access and rectify the data we process.
If you have any doubts as to whether we are processing your data in accordance with the law, you may ask us for an explanation or to rectify an inaccuracy, in particular to block, correct, supplement or delete personal data.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic.

DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY
We will handle your personal data responsibly and in accordance with current Slovak and European legislation. We use automated and non-automated means to process personal data. All data is stored on secure servers located in the European Union and on a Google server.
Personal data is protected to the maximum extent possible by using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development and the level of risk of misuse.
We have voluntarily committed ourselves and our agents to maintain technical and organisational measures to prevent the misuse, damage or destruction of personal data throughout the entire chain, from entering your email to deleting the data after the expiry of your consent or the legal retention period.
Personal data processed by us in our capacity as data controller and data processor may be made available only to employees and data processors who provide administrative and technical support in the operation of applications necessary for the operation of the website and supporting applications. Access to other subjects is allowed only for reasons of fulfilment of legal obligations.

DECLARATION OF THE DATA CONTROLLER
We declare that, as the controller of our subscribers' personal data, we fulfil the legal obligations required by the applicable legislation:

   We process the personal data of our subscribers only on the basis of consent, legitimate interest or legal title.
   We do not process sensitive personal data, i.e. personal data revealing national or racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, trade-union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, criminal convictions, health or sex life, or genetic or biometric data,
   We fulfil our obligation to inform our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act,
   We enable our clients to exercise their rights under the Personal Data Protection Act,
   Fulfilling all other obligations of a personal data controller under the Personal Data Protection Act,
   When sending e-mails, we undertake to take into account any changes in the personal data records of our subscribers within 48 hours of receiving information about the change.
